Responsibility                              11/22/15

I could not think of a better title than this.

Responsibility has many definitions and all too often, people think only in
terms of blame. Such as who is responsible for...? Or, I'll take responsible for
that!

A better definition of responsibility is Cause or willingness to Cause
something to happen.

You can be responsible and Cause and not do anything. You're still
responsible!

Friends vs No Friends

I've met people with many friends. Having friends is a matter of
communication and responsibility.

A friend is someone who you like and is on your side, agrees with you to
some extent. A friend is the opposite of an enemy. An enemy is someone
you don't like and is not on your side. A friend is safe while an enemy is
dangerous.

If you take no responsibility for life, your actions, people will not like you for
long and will cease to be on your side. Irresponsible people are dangerous to
have around and they create problems for others.

Irresponsible people will not have true friends though there may be some
equally irresponsible people that will tolerate being around them.

Friends help each other. Irresponsible people rarely cause anything, help
anyone.

Hot Coffee

Most people have heard of the lady that spilled hot coffee on herself and
sued a fast food restaurant and was awarded lots of money.

Part of the lawsuit was that the cup did not tell the lady the coffee was hot.

It would seem to me that if I order a cup of hot coffee, I would expect it to be
hot. It also seems that a warning on the cup would not prevent me from
spilling it.

If I spill coffee, I did it. I caused coffee to spill.

I recently purchased a tool. It shoots pins of various sizes into wood. There is
NO safety on the tool. If I pull the trigger, it fires a pin.

Who is responsible if I shoot myself in the hand?

I have a hammer with no safety on it, who is responsible if I hit my thumb?

Irresponsible People and the Courts

Irresponsible people often fall down, trip on cracks, and on and on. They go
to the courts and sue because the manufacturers have money and they can
steel some of it via a crooked attorney and the courts.

Irresponsible people want something for nothing.

Perhaps the store should have up signs or warning. There are times when
they should. But even if they don't, when you walk in or over something,
you're the one doing the walking.

You are responsible for your own actions and the results of your actions.

Welfare and Social Security

There is a huge difference between the two categories of benefits.

For the most part, Social Security comes from money a person was required
to pay to the government so they could give it back later. People were forced
to trust the government with their future.

Welfare is paid for from taxes not paid in specifically by the person receiving
the money.

Welfare is a handout from the government of other people's money to people
who did not earn it!

The government creates dependency by giving people money. People get
used to not working and being paid to do nothing.

People who receive money for nothing are criminal. Criminals are people
who receive something for nothing. Criminals are irresponsible!

There is charity and there are people that do need help. Charity is best
handled by the church and family as it has been in the past.

Welfare people beyond a brief period are demonstrating they are
irresponsible.

Social Security

People who paid into a fund all their lives with the understanding they will be
paid back when they reach a certain age are not irresponsible.

They worked. They earned and they paid. They obeyed the law that required
them to pay into the Social Security fund.

Social Security money is owed to the citizens that paid into the fund. It's not a
“benefit” like welfare is.

Welfare is assistance from the government. Social Security is the people's
own money! Social Security is not a “handout”!

The government's handling of the Social Security fund has been
irresponsible! The government basically betrayed the trust of the people
forced to pay into the fund. They spent the money paid in!  This now forces
the government to pay people from incoming tax money.

Congress would like to make it seem Social Security is like assistance or a
handout from the government. Congress would like to further betray the
people and cut payments. Congress is irresponsible.

Were the government responsible, we'd not be in debt as a nation.

Congress, government, operates like criminals, irresponsible and willing to
give away other people's money.

The solution is to replace the crooks and hope the next batch are more
honest.

Conclusion

When you are responsible, you can be Cause! Life is much easier when
you're being Cause. Life can be a game you play.

When you're not responsible, you are effect. Life can be something you are
suffering through. Not only are you not playing a game, you're not even a
player. You're a broke piece.

So step up! Be Cause and make things happen that are survival and good.
Be responsible! Can't never did anything!
