Lack of Appreciation

Appreciation is defined by Google as “the recognition and enjoyment of the good qualities of
someone or something”.

Most people are so awesome even when they only do routine things. Rarely do they receive the
appreciation they deserve.

Many are neglected and unacknowledged. I fully understand them and how they feel. Lack of
admiration, lack of appreciation, leaves a void in peoples lives. People deserve better!

A Father

I know a guy who works like hell to support his wife and children.

She's a stay at home mom with five children at home. The youngest is about two years old.

He works for a communication company and puts in many hours to pay the bills and buy the
groceries.

In my opinion, he is not appreciated as much as he should be. The way he contributes and does
everything asked, I do believe he appreciates his wife adequately. Of course that is only my
opinion.

Teachers

Good school teachers are rarely appreciated as much as they should be. My admiration for a
person who can teach children without squashing their enthusiasm is very high.

Though I can say there were only a few teachers that I appreciated when I was in school. There
were several that certainly tried very hard to help me learn. I don't think I ever expressed my
appreciation.

Service People

Good service is very valuable and should be thoroughly admired and appreciated. I treat my
servers as equals and I really notice them. I smile and talk with them. I also tip well where
appropriate.

Very often service people are under paid and under appreciated. I find it interesting that people
will tip a taxi driver and yet totally don't tip Uber and Lyft drivers who make far less money and
normally do a stellar job of saving riders time and money.

Electronic Communication

When you are in the company of friends, ignoring them and talking on your cellphone is not only
rude, it really tells your friends they are not appreciated.

Playing games on your cellphone is even worse as that is totally an unimportant addiction.

I try not to use my cell phone when not necessary to business or other immediately important
things. I never play games when anyone is around.

My friends, my fellow workers, are there with me and deserve my admiration and appreciation for
the company and production they do.

Failure to admire and appreciate people tends to tell them they are not important. It tells them you
do not appreciate them being around.

Solution

Notice those people that are around you. They are all interesting. They are all important. They all
have their own challenges in life. They are all doing the very
best they can.

You should appreciate them for their efforts and successes.

To give a different view, what do you do that should NOT be appreciated? When should people
ignore you? When should their cell phone be more important tha
n you are?

So just keep that in mind and smile at people.

Helping someone spot what condition(s) and what the solutions are to handle them is exactly
what I do in life.

Improving the conditions of others is my destination and purpose in life. A little true knowledge can
go a long way. I do not ask that you believe anything!

Routinely I say #EverythinWill_B_OK!I believe that is true!
