What Come Around, Goes Around
I went to Google and picked up their informal definition of Karma: destiny or fate, following as
effect from cause.
It actually fits this article pretty well. I would say it simply, what you do creates effects that always
come back to you.
This is a common view point.
The formal definition is: the sum of a person's actions in this and previous states of existence,
viewed as deciding their fate in future existences. This is from Hindu and Buddhism.
That may be more accurate as life is not just “one life long.” The one life only theory has never
been shown to be accurate. The contrary of that has been demonstrated over and over.
In some religions it is stated as “you sow, so shall you reap”
There are basic laws attached to this phenomenon. Beings, meaning you and I, are basically good.
We are also a lot more powerful than you have been allowed to suspect.
When you do something good, you have a credit in your favor. When you do something you
consider bad, you have a credit against you. As a good being, you tend to balance your credits.
It is nice to know that simply by doing what you know to be correct, you can improve what comes
Sometimes, you have a lot of bad credits you have to work off so don't get discouraged.
What you put out will come back. Maybe it will not be the same kind or nature of item or action,
but good actions will cause good to return.
How do You Determine Good from Bad?
For sane people, good would aid your survival. It would also aid your family, friends and all of
humanity. Those would be the immediate things to consider. There is also the plants and animals,
the physical universe, such as planet Earth, that needs to be considered in your decision.
I'll give a few examples. The guy who successfully robs a bank. All that money helps his survival,
his family and friends, perhaps. More likely, the money will never reach any of them.
Instead, the robber is likely to land in jail or dead. This will deny his family and friends his support
and puts a burden on the rest of humanity.
So robbing banks is bad if you look at it broadly.
One more example, nuclear power stops pollution of burning coal. This is true. It doesn't exhaust
the limited supply of coal. The air can be cleaner.
However, nuclear power produces radiation. It contaminates the air, water and ground. In a case
like Fukushima, it pollutes the ocean. It has been over 6 years of on going, constant contamination
of this planet. There is no end in sight.
Additionally, the “spent nuclear fuel rods” stored there are super dangerous. The term “spent”
is a definite misdirector. They are extremely radio active and potentially explosive. There are
hundreds of these rods stored on top of a very weakened building. Any earth quake or tsunami
could destroy it setting off the a nuclear explosion larger and dirtier than any man has ever seen.
There are no safe limits for radiation exposure. Radiation accumulates in human bodies.
Additional exposure increases the contamination of bodies and the resulting damage it does.
Fukushima could potentially wipe out huge sections of mankind. There is no defense.
Nuclear waste continues to accumulate at EVERY power plant. Fukushima is completely out of
Radiation can ruin this entire planet and wipe out all life. That includes you, your family, friends
and me and my two cats.
Evaluating nuclear power against burning coal, is a no brainer. Coal may be polluting but it is not
going to wipe out life. Nuclear power is profitable. So those that only consider profit and do not
consider the risk are bad. Nuclear power is bad.
The promoters of nuclear power are bank robbers that could take more than just our money.
Nuclear war is bad.
Apparently, Japan's Tepco has some very bad karma and Japan is getting the return flow.
You Can be Cause.
Karma is the return flow. If you out flow, commit good acts, good deeds, you can causatively inflow
a good return.
The government isn't going to help us. Only we can act in a way that will create good beyond our
immediate bank balance.
I believe you are worthy of being helped. I believe man is worth keeping alive. Hence I write to
hopefully enlighten many.
The Way To Happiness.
I use The Way To Happiness as a moral guide in my day to day life. It is not a religious text. The
people I know that have read it, all agree with its precepts.
You might give it a try. You can watch the videos on my site about them or go to their site. They
are very well done.
If you need gentle assistance, contact me. I am trained in resolving conflicts very successfully.
Helping someone spot what condition(s) and what the solutions are to handle them is exactly
what I do in life.
Improving the conditions of others is my destination and purpose in life. A little true knowledge can
go a long way. I do not ask that you believe anything!
Routinely I say #EverythinWill_B_OK!I believe that is true!
Also, “A person is only as valuable as he aids others in their games of survival!”
